Registration

You can register for classes online or through the provided mail-in form.

2024-2025 School Year Overview:

  1. Class Time and Location: The school year starts from August 18, 2024, to May 18, 2025. Chinese classes take place on Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:50am. Children's drawing, abacus, basketball, tennis, and handicrafts classes are 11:00-11:50 am; cartoon drawing classes are 11:00am-12:15pm.

  2. The school year consists of two semesters, with a total of 30 teaching weeks excluding holidays. Chinese classes take a total of 56 hours, and extracurricular classes 28 hours. One week is reserved for the Spring Festival celebration, and another week is dedicated to the school's end-of-year park outing.

  3. Notification of the school year start will be sent via email in the second week of July 2024.

2024-2025 学年概要:

  1. 上课时间及地点：本学年从2024年8月18日至2025年5月18日止。星期日上午9:00–10:50中文课；11:00- 11:50儿童绘画、珠心算、篮球、网球、手工；11:00-12:15卡通绘画。

  2. 本学年两学期扣除节假日共30教学周。其中中文56课时，文体28课时，1周为春节联欢会，1周为学年结 束全校大游园活动。

  3. 开学通知将于2024年7月第二周用email发出。

Registration Procedure:

  • For current students, please carefully review and update personal information, if any changes, use a red pen to make corrections. Note: Every parent must provide a Gmail address to the school.

  • For new students, please complete the personal information form.

  • For transfer students, please complete the personal information form. Chinese proficiency can be assessed through one of the following methods:

    • Method 1: Take the test at the school on Sundays at 11:00 AM.

    • Method 2: Have the student self-assess their Chinese proficiency with the following information: 1) Current Chinese grade level. 2) Approximate number of characters and vocabulary recognized. 3) Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Attach this information to the registration form and mail or submit it to the school registration group.

  • Carefully read and sign the Waiver on the registration form.

  • Write the check payable to "LRCS" and indicate the student's name in the MEMO column. If multiple children attend the school, please write separate checks. The school will not provide separate receipts; the canceled check serves as a receipt. Please staple the check to the application form.

  • To request a registration form, send an email to admin@jianghe.org or pick up the form at the school office.

注册方法及步骤:

  • 在校生请详核对个人资料，信息如有变化，请用红笔更改。注意：每位家长都必须提供GMAIL给学校。

  • 新生请详填个人资料。

  • 插班生请详填个人资料。中文程度鉴定方法一、周日到校测试，测试时间为11：00AM。方法二、家长帮
    助学生自测。请提供如下信息：1）目前就读中文年级 2）大约认识汉字、生词数量 3）听说读写各个方
    面掌握程度等，将以上信息附在报名表后，一并邮寄或交给学校注册组。

  • 详细阅读本须知及注册表上的Waiver，并签名。

  • 支票抬请写：LRCS并在MEMO 栏注明学生姓名。若有多位子女就读本校，请分别开写支票。学校不另行
    给予收据，Canceled Check 就是收据。请将支票钉在申请表上面。

  • 索取报名表格请发送邮件至：admin@jianghe.org。或到学校办公室领取报名表。
