Textbook Content 课本内容:

For 5th and 6th grade students who have reached an intermediate level of Chinese proficiency. Starting from this volume, cultural topics are introduced, integrating the study of Chinese characters, words, sentences, and texts with geography, history, philosophy, and other specialized knowledge.
1. This volume focuses on introducing idioms. Idioms are treasures in the Chinese language, representing an important linguistic form. Generally composed of four characters, idioms contain philosophical stories. In this volume, 12 commonly used idioms are studied, allowing students to engage with this concise, humorous, and profound linguistic form.
2. Homework includes creating handmade mini-books.
3. The entire book has 10 lessons, with 111 new characters and 130 new words. The course takes 30 instructional hours (50 分钟 per session).

5/6 年级学生,中文已达中级水平。从本册起进入文化专题课程,将汉字词、句、课文与地理、历史、哲学等专题知识同步学习。
1. 本册专题介绍成语。成语是汉语中的瑰宝,一种重要的语言形式。一般由四个字组成,并含有一个哲理故事。本册共学习 12 条常用成语,使学生接触到这种精炼、幽默深刻的语言形式。
2. 作业包含编写小图书手工。
3. 全书 10 课,生字 111 个,生词 130 个,教程 30 学时,(每学时 50分钟)。

Learning Content 学习内容:

1. Learn 12 common idioms, understand what idioms are, and attempt to use them.
2. Speaking: Practice telling idiom stories (1-2 minutes).
3. Grammar: Continue introducing 2 conjunctions and synonyms.
4. Writing: Learn writing (part 4) based on picture prompts. Practice the following skills: (a) Describe a complete story plot, (b) Use a well-structured article (with paragraphs), (c) Create vivid descriptions (including details).
5. Continue with "Parent-Child Reading" activities.

1. 学习常用成语 12 条,知道什么是成语并试着使用。
2. 说:练习讲述成语故事(1-2 分钟)。
3. 语法:继续介绍关连词 2 个,介绍同义词。
4. 写:学习写作(4)看图写话,练习以下三项能力:(a) 描述故事情节完整, (b) 文章结构合理(会分段), (c) 描述生动(有细节)。
5. 继续 “亲子阅读”活动。
